Featured Wood Decking Options

With the myriad of decking options out there, we are constantly doing research and testing decking products to help our customers make the most informed decision possible. We have used many of the products listed below, however some of these products do not seem to us to be quality enough to recommend. Click the photos below to read more about each product.

Cumaru is a Brazilian hardwood that is naturally impervious to rot, decay, and insects. It is cost effective, beautiful, and incredibly durable. it is sometimes called Brazilian Teak.

Siberian Larch is an incredibly strong coniferous wood from the harsh climate or Russia. it is naturally resistant to rot and decay.

Pressure Treated Pine is the most common decing product availalbe, and also the cheapest. It is treated with various chemicals to ensure protection from insects and decay.

Ipe is a popular Brazilian hardwood. it is unmatched in density. Its benefits are very similar to cumaru, but is slightly darker with more natural oils. It is often referred to as Brazilian Walnut.

Massaranduba is a Brazilian hardwood, commonly referred to as Brazilian redwood. It is similar to Cumaru, although slightly less dense, requiring slighltly more maintenance.
